New Year, Same CONgress

And I thought the Fiscal Cliff is over. Well, the deal made was pathetic to say the least but I thought there would be less news surrounding the deal now that Obama and CONgress have put in a few more days of overpaid work.

Deal or not, the impact is devastating. Either we kick the can further down the road with a deal or we take a hit now and maybe recover in a few years time. And all this drama for a drop in the bucket. I'm not even using the ocean as a metaphor.

Either way, every politician, probably except those newly elected, should take ZERO pay until USA starts having a budget surplus.
