25th Week 3

Bad week, in any sense. Tragedy for countries around the Indian Ocean, sickness befell me on the turn of new year, and a hammering away from home for Everton, not to mention that being the second straught loss...both away from home...Death toll around the Indian Ocean is still unknown and on the up, plus casualties from the side of volunteers as well. A sad end to 2004, and its equivalent aftermath to start 2005. My condolences to those who suffered from the tsunami, the least I could offer.

Preparing for my second last IT exam, well at least thats what I planned for the next half year. Not looking very well to me. Maybe need more practice tomorrow. May also look at some more course and stuff.

Football wise, I start to think we are too dependent on Martyn and Stubbs, and both Yobo and Wright showed their obvious lack of games. Still, we lost big at the start of the season, plus six losses on the trot from last season, it won't be worse than some we saw over the last decade. We should get Beatie (or Yakubu) and Ashton together, plus one in midfield (maybe Luque from struggling Deportivo) and one youngster in defence, or maybe we should try to get Ball back free. Well, thought of Solano, but only in my dreams :p Maybe, Djimi Traore (1 million, I reckon). Saw him in Chelsea match, not bad. But I must say, if Wright should sit on the bench when Martyn returns (or vice versa), we should loan him out with a call-back clause to a Championship club at least for match readiness. Moyes is right on this window's shopping list, Never Buy BIG when we could only shop on Mark and Spencer's, and I don't think we should be, at least, over next decade (although I'm itching to see Fabregas in toffee blue).
*** Saw the papers on Robert and Ameobi being unsettled, Go Moyes Go!!! (2nd Jan 2005 10:30pm) ***

Lastly, my bad week will be over, and hope the same for all. Peace to all!
